I was so happy when I finally finished this piece!  This piece is important to me, not because of any special emotional connection to the subject matter or anything like that but because the original sketch had been sitting in a state of 99% completion on my iPad for close to two years. I knew I wanted to paint it big, I just didn’t have the space at my old space. This is the first large painting I completed in my new studio and it feels like a milestone. It’s 6 ft by 6 ft and my only regret is I that I didn’t go even bigger. I love the chubby Pegasus and it’s rider looking all strong and badass.
