"Chubby Pegasus"

This is my most ambitious print to date, it has 16 separate colors that were painstakingly screen printed over the course of a week by the good folks at nightswim project. This piece is really special to me, I started the sketches almost 2 years ago, I was very inspired by Frank Frazzettas art and the powerful women in greek mythology as well as old sci fi book covers and it all kind got meshed together in my style. I knew I wanted to paint it big, so I sat on the sketch for over a year so I could paint it when I had the space. This was the first painting I painted in my new house and I'm really happy with it. I knew I wanted the print to be just as special which is why I decided to go with an intense 16 color screen print process rather than the cheaper digital process. I hope you all enjoy!
