“The Sink”
12"x12", 3 color screen print on French Berrylicious paper, which was then laser cut one at a time, and layered on top of a digital print printed on fine 80# mat paper. So its actually two prints layered together. Ships flat, bagged and boarded. Limited edition of 385.
 
The print first took form as a painting that I started sometime in late 2019 and was originally created with the intent of showing at a gallery. I ended up getting sidetracked by other projects and worked on it sporatically until finally finishing it in August of 2020. As soon as I posted it on social media I had a lot of inquires about making prints which brought up a lot of logisitcal questions for me. I wanted to find a way to offer the print with the same layered effect as the original piece. It took a lot of research and collaboration from printers, laser cutters and the advice of others but I finally made it happen.
The end result is a special and unique Chuck U piece that I am very proud of. Each print is the result of much thoughtful deliberation and has been hand inspected by me every step of the way. No two prints are exactly the same. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoyed making them.
Looks great in any 12x12 frame, but to get the most out of the layered effect of this print I recommend putting a layer of framers acrylic (or regular glass) between the two layers.
I recommend using webpicureframes(dot)com  You can get everything you need for about $50. I recommend the 12”x12” “Canvas Black Frame”  and select the “Acrylic - Conservation reflection control - Non Glare - UVNG” option for the glass. Make sure to order an extra piece of acrylic for in between the layers from the "supplies" section of the site.
